What we aim for

We build the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as far as we reasonably can. In practice that means readable colour contrast, text that resizes, keyboard-navigable menus and forms, labelled form fields, a “skip to content” link, and content that still works if scripts or animations don’t run.

Where we know we can do better

We’re a small team and we test as we build, so some pages will be stronger than others. If you hit something that’s awkward with a screen reader, keyboard, or magnifier, we’d genuinely like to know — it helps us fix the right things first.

If something’s hard to use

Email hello@coolhouse.uk, tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and we’ll fix it or give you the information another way — for example, we’re happy to take an enquiry by email or phone if the form doesn’t work for you.
